Apart from our notable banking, real estate and litigation work, we are particularly known for our China practice and cross-border legal services between Hong Kong and Mainland China. Our China practice began as early as 1979 and work includes joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, project financing, “A” and “H” share listing, regulatory and compliance, trade mark and patent registration, attestation and notarization, arbitration and dispute resolution.
In providing cross-border and international services, we have China-Appointed Attesting Officers and Notaries Public in our firm. We also have lawyers and colleagues with PRC legal qualifications. All of our lawyers are conversant in both Chinese and English languages and are able to provide quality Chinese/English bilingual services in an accurate and cost-effective manner.
On 1 April 2024, Gallant and Guantao & Chow, solicitors and notaries (“Guantao Hong Kong”) entered into association. Guantao Hong Kong was established by Beijing Guantao Law Firm in Hong Kong in 2008 and completed its localization in February 2016.
