Formal retainer Legal Service Agreement with Standard Charted Bank (China) Limited

On 2nd April 2013, Ms. Amanda Liu (Managing Partner) and Mr. Philip Wong (Partner of Commercial Department and Head of Banking and Finance practice team) on behalf of Gallant Y. T. Ho & Co. signed a formal retainer Legal Service Agreement with Standard Charted Bank (China) Limited (represented by Ms. Winnie MY Tung) to provide on-going cross-border banking-related legal services to the Bank. So far, our Firm is the only retainer law firm retained by the Bank for such legal services. Mr. Philip Wong was also invited by the Bank to provide a three-hour legal training involving cross-border banking-related legal issues to the staff of all branches in China of the Bank through on-line real-time conference facilities and also physically attended by staff of the Bank in its headquarters office in Shanghai. As at today, Standard Charted Bank (China) Limited has 23 branches in China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
