Gallant Managing Partner Attended Beijing Guantao Law Firm Joint Forum Discussion

Mr Philip Wong, Managing Partner and Head of the Commercial Department of our Firm, attended the joint forum on “Greater Bay Area – Smart New Growth” in Shenzhen on 7 April 2024 organized by Beijing Guantao Law Firm. Guantao & Chow, which is the Hong Kong office of Beijing Guantao Law Firm, is in association with our Firm.

Mr Cui Liguo, founding partner of Beijing Guantao Law Firm, Mr Ma Ning, founding partner of Lingfeng Capital, Mr Wang Bo, assistant general manager of Yunnan Trust Family Trust Department and XBIB, senior investment bank expert, attended the joint forum and shared with the attending guests and lawyers their insights on topics such as wealth management, international investment and global allocation of assets.

Mr Philip Wong spoke on the topic "The latest trends in the family office and wealth management market", sharing with the participants on the unique position of the Hong Kong market as a preferred location for family office business in Asia under the current geopolitical context and the market strategy and outlook. Discussion topics at the forum included current demand characteristics and changing trends of wealth management in China, practical issues and cases of wealth management in different regions, in-depth analysis of the current market situation and future direction of China's family wealth management market.
